マネージメントとは他の社員に何々をしろという仕事ではない。マネージメントの仕事とは、部下に個々の能力を使って共通の目標に進むように確信させることである。

Management is not hiring employees and then firing those who don’t work out. Management is finding the best employees who can be afforded within the budget and providing those employees with the resources necessary to complete their assigned tasks. In fact, when an employee must be fired, it is also a failure of management because management either did not hire the right person or did not provide the proper training, motivation, or guidance to make that employee productive.
